Thanks for the explanation! I interpreted "make yourself sick" as throwing up so I thought the sentences' meaning weren't equal but the teacher kept insisting they meant the exact same thing. Dx

Anyway, here's another question if you don't mind. So, I was just trying to solve a few English problems in preparation for the TOEIC exam tomorrow and I came across this problem:

Now, four in ten cars sold in the United States are foreign makes __________ with less than a quarter twenty years ago.

1. comparison 2. comparable 3. comparative 4. compared

Now, what I don't get is the "~are foreign makes~" part. I was liek o_O when I read the sentence. I absolutely have no clue what this sentence means so can anyone please explain? Thanks in advance!
