Sadly I have no friends in walking distance, plus my mom's too over-protective for me to out anywhere besides the library. I get to read some nice books but still, I love the internet for some of it's people and Tegakie,
always Tegakie.

Maria, :c I say try to give them a nice good reality check but if anything just forget about people like that. They know that they have enough freedom on the internet to act like a pissy brat if they want to on the internet because they won't have their parents to scold them for it.
But if they tell you to get out of anything like they own it, v__v Don't go. Hey, even annoy them if it'd feel good to you.

This reminds me of when I was 14 - 15. XD

& Maria, I just give up on them, it's simpler than trying to argue. Just move on & speak to someone else via messages ... or just don't visit Kupika as much & rely on more places like here(! haha), livejournal communities, blogs etc., or at least that's what I did & I'm a happy bunny. :P Even if people do think I'm drunk 24/7. XD

Do you mean that you still think of people as the ages they were years ago? Or actually saying you think everyone acts 13 and you don't?

'cause I'm with you on the first one.

ETA: I was never 13 on here though. Joined at 15.
I'm the same age as you.

The first one (: Yet again, I don't feel like I've aged at all and when I saw an earlier post of mine on here, it was like "Hi guysz! D"

Which was shocking, to say the least.

Ah, it's like we're the older siblings of the kupi-kids C:

But you've all to remember, you were thirteen once too. Whether you behaved the same as these children or not, they're still growing, and their immaturity will cease eventually. I, myself, am fifteen currently, and every birthday that passes, I don't feel the slightest bit older, so I'm under the assumption that I'm ageless. My friends don't look older, every time I see them, whether that be after a year, or possibly longer, they still look to me as they did when I met them. I mean, not including their hair colour, shoe size, height, and such. But all of my friends look the same to me. Anywho, you're correct, the younger kids do seem to be taking over. But give it time, they'll all grow older just the same. Plus, even some of the elder members of kupika, and I'm speaking of the 16-20 range, can be rather rude at points in time. It's jut how humans are, nothing will change that fact. This is mostly irrelevant, so I'm going to stop speaking now. c:

You know, this was the very same with me until a couple of weeks ago, when a group of us drove to the pub to have a drink together to say goodbye before moving out and going to different places around the country.

That was when it hit me how much had changed from when we were younger. Until that moment, nobody seemed any different.

I think it's probably because we're growing with them. It's like when you have a puppy. You don't notice how big it's gotten until someone tells you.

I KNOW RIGHT. >:O
Suddenly, all of the kids my age (13 and 14) are asking everyone to stop "bitching" and "fuck off" whenever someone intelligent points a mistake or anything.

It's an expression: I'm directing it towards the 15+ kids too, my age group included.

Besides, I was a horribly shy 13 year old who just replied everything with dots and "lol". I was too scared to argue because I thought it was best to just say sorry and get it over with. XD

But some people do not mature at all, there are people on Kupika who have been as rude and igorant since joining and up to the point today. I'm not gonna put any names down, of course. ;D
