![]() Image by stellab Have you read this book, or seen the movie adaption? It's a very dear story to a friend of mine, and she cosplayed Amalthea at a cosplay ball and looked stunning. The book was written in the 1960s, and adapted (by a company that has since evolved a lot, but is practically Studio Ghibli now, if that interests you) in 1982. I watched the adaption today and the music is amazing. I uploaded a (cover?) song if you want to hear: The Last Unicorn (Declan Galbraith).mp3 The original is on Youtube if you search "The Last Unicorn intro". So uh, anyone? <3 |

I've heard of it. I don't know if I've actually seen it or read it, but I've heard of it, I know that.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...I was addicted to the movie when I was little, maybe five or six or so? Loved it so much that I had a unicorn-themed birthday party one year. I haven't seen the movie in FOREVER and really want to see it again, but I'm not sure how though.
And what's that about it was sort-of made by an early Studio Ghibli???

it's been re-released in 07 on DVD (sped up >:c) but the 1982 release is on youtube ^^ and about SG, wiki (lol) states that the animators(?) who worked on it moved on to work at Studio Ghibli.
