I'm guessing none of you have heard this song before (if you have, yay!). It is the instrumental (with some vocals) introduction to Good Charlotte's album, The Chronicles of Life and Death. I've always loved it, but just 10 minutes ago, I finally got around to looking up the actual lyrics to the introduction, titled, Once Upon a Time: The Chronicles of Life and Death. It is in Japanese, and after reading the translation, I just figured I might as well share it with you.
You can listen to the song here: YouTube - Once Upon a Time: The Battle of Life and Death The lyrics (both Japanese and English): jinsei jinsei jinsei (life life life) shinu shinu shinu (death death death) jinsei jinsei jinsei (life life life) shinu shinu shinu (death death death) seise to shi, umarete wa shinu (life and death, to be born is to die) seise to shi, umarete wa shinu (life and death, to be born is to die) kyuuketsuki wa eien ni ikiru yakusoku sareta (the vampire lives eternally, for it was promised so) seise to shi, umarete wa shinu (life and death, to be born is to die) seise to shi, umarete wa shinu (life and death, to be born is to die) eien no shi (eternal death) seise to shi, shi wa utsukushii, utsukushii (life and death, death is beautiful, beautiful) seise to shi, shi wa utsukushii, utsukushii (life and death, death is beautiful, beautiful) seise to shi, jinsei utsukushii, utsukushii (life and death, life is beautiful, beautiful) kyuuketsuki, eien ni ikiru, yakusoku sareta (the vampire lives eternally, for it was promised so) I have to admit, after reading what the words mean in English, I'm a bit spooked. It's got kind of a creepy Gothic feel to it...

It reminds me of Charlie & The Chocolate Factory - as in the Oopma Loompa's. XD Then it reminds me of Harry Potter mixed with Charlie & The Chocolate Factory from around 0:58 (I think :/).
I don't actually like Good Charlotte anyway, I like a couple of their songs but I always thought they were kind of Gothic/Emo/Alternative/Whatever. ;D My bad. Why is it in Japanese? Are they like... Wapanese? :P |

No, there are girls who are either Japanese or who know how to speak/sign Japanese who are singing the vocal parts. Good Charlotte themselves (the 4 band members) aren't actually singing. They probably aren't playing either.
