When you're feeling down, depressed, sad etc. what song do you listen to? If any at all?
Recently, when I've been feeling down I've listened to Iris by Goo Goo Dolls, as I can kinda relate to it, and it's a down song. ---------- Post added at 03:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:08 PM ---------- Another song which I listen to when I'm down is Paparazzi by Lady GaGa, this also has meaning for me ![]() Last edited by Timelord; 07-12-2009 at 02:12 PM. |

I don't really listen to any particular 'sad' songs, because that's just fuelling sadness...and I usually don't want to do that. It reminds me of emo kids. >D
This song is the most emotional I listen to I guess. YouTube - Lifehouse's Everything Skit There are nice 10Rose versions and stuff (I recommend Elishamarie28's) as well, but that's the first one I ever watched, so..

Bad Day - Chris Powter (sp)
Why? Because I was really homesick at primary school (also dramatic, lol) and always depressed on random days so I'd just put my head down on the table and then finally one day, someone noticed me and said, "What's wrong?" "I had a bad day, okay?" (and he was probably just mocking me but he...) "-starts singing Bad Day-" So that's the story. C:

![]() And yeah, that is a great song to make you happy. I liked it when my life was fucking great and my boyfriend wasn't an ass.

I listen to music that kind of reflects my mood. It probably is pretty dumb to listen to sad music when you're sad but I do it anyway xD I was saying to Lyncheh before.. *digs convo up*
When I listen to happy music and I'm sad it feels like someone is trying to cheer me up - and failing really badly at it. Like those kids' shows that have a pissed off or unhappy person on carnival rides when they're not having fun and they just look bored and miserable, that's how ridiculous I feel when I listen to happy music while I'm obviously not happy XD So when I feel like listening to something else I'll know I'm ready to cheer up. I wish I could prompt that with music but, alas, it doesn't seem to work for me. |
