Popular is a misused term.
If you ask me, it just means you are well-known. Having lots of friends and being pretty has nothing to do with it.

at my school, the popular people are the band geeks.
i swear. we're the cool ones who know everyone, and we get the good grades, but, idk, my school doesn't really have cliques. it's kind of weird. |
