No offense, but when people just say that they're a "REALLY good drawer," I feel like they're... really egoistic.
I'm not saying that I'm not egoistic myself, but you know what I mean.

Uh, I don't have any problems with the Oekaki system. If it comes out looking bad, then it's my own fault.

I agree with Linda. Saying you're a great artist does make you look like you have quite the ego...
However, whatever makes you happy, I suppose.

As for the oekaki problem, being more specific would help -- for example, what messes up your oekaki? Does the page freeze, or does the oekaki not upload when you're finished? We can help you more easily if you let us know what's going on. ^^

Sometimes Kupika is a bit slow or the oekaki won't upload, it's happened many times with me.

And as for me, I'm not a good artist (in my opinion XD). I have a lot to learn, I need to learn how to properly draw anatomy, and especially hands. I'm not that skilled -- I think I should take an art class. O_o However, some other really amazing artists on Kupika are DoOp (one of my favorites, her work is so original and lovely), Foxleopard (amazing realism, one of Kupika's best) and Nirrum. Bizzahra's work is also very lovely, it's the most original, I think, and she has a style that reminds you of cartoons and Gorillaz art. ^^

oh and PS to Shayanne: sometimes people just arent as good drawing online as they are on paper, i have that problem, (not saying im that good on paper anyway) but its different drawing on the computer, even with a tablet, some people just dont have the immense talent that some people have with the computer drawing skills. me included in the lack of.

Aww, thank you Namina. ;; -hugs- ?
I really do try, though I know I have so much left to learn. ^^;

It's true, though -- drawings on paper and on the computer can be significantly different. My drawings on paper look pretty different from my CGs. Sometimes I like the CGs more -- they just have better color (I have no color pencils) and cleaner lines. Also, tablets... that can really help your drawings. I've never used a tablet, but people who draw with them usually draw amazing (if they have skills). Some people, however, still have trouble drawing even with a tablet. It's all about practice. ^^ ?

Drawing on the computer is different from paper, too, you've got layers, pencils have much different effects than a solid pen tool on Photoshop or Shi Painter and the CGs are usually much cleaner than paper drawings (well, in my case). Drawing on the computer is usually more difficult. Especially with a mouse. XD
